So much in so little time! In just four days:
Feb 18: We completed the 19 kilometer Tongariro Alpine crossing!
Feb 19&20: Wellington, a city with soul. Had an amazing host, Matt (thank you, Nilab!), explored the national museum, Te Papa, enjoyed the writer's walk, saw the original Treaty of Waitaingi
Feb 21: Took the Interislander ferry to the south island, wine-tasting in Blenheim, got a new travel companion - DJ from Washington, US, stayed with the lovely Johnson family atop a hill overlooking the vineyards in a home they built with their own hands
